What was your path/journey after you graduated from Cornell?
Since graduating from Cornell, I began my professional path in Manhattan, securing a position at Salomon Brothers. I got married and then pursued an MBA in Finance at NYU Stern School, graduating in 2002. After completing my MBA, I joined Citigroup in London, where I stayed until 2008. Our first two sons were born in London, but we moved to Stockholm, Sweden, in 2009, where I became Director at Nordea Bank, a Nordic financial services group.
Our third son was born in Sweden and we adopted three sled dogs! We currently reside in Stockholm, and I moved to PwC Sweden in 2021, where I am focused on sustainability.
What was your favorite class or Cornell? In retrospect, what has proven to be your most useful class from Cornell?
Statics was probably my favorite because of the minor "fix-it" projects I do around the house! And also, the course likely started my journey in engineering.
Which Cornell classmates do you keep in contact with?
Doug Greer, Steve Scotto, Alison Torrillo French
If you could change anything about your Cornell experience, what would it be and why?
I regret not keeping in touch with more friends. It is understandable that it is easier to stay in touch in person when in the US rather than when one has moved overseas. Regardless, please reach out if our paths crossed at Cornell!
